So, I thoroughly blame for the fact that I started shipping these two.

It's mostly just... their interactions on DWoW, really. I dunno, but there's something about the way Phantom writes for Perdita that makes her really believable, makes it really easy for me to get into Pongo's head when they're interacting and to really touch his own emotions towards her. Before, I always just thought of them as just 'being together for the sake of the canon story' rather than as a pairing in their own right, but after seeing Pongo's feelings for Perdy through his own eyes... yup, I ship them seriously now.

I almost wish there'd been more cute romantic moments between them in the movie now, honestly. Or at least, that there was an AU where once they met, their relationship grew more seriously than just 'we just fell in a lake together and suddenly we're all in love'... hm.

Anyway, I felt like drawing them together. Make of it what you will.
